Welcome to the Internet Home of the Prince of Peace Baptist Church.  We are a conservative, evangelism oriented, Bible-based congregation with a strong African consciousness.  Our world view is a composite of the ancient Biblical tradition, coupled with African and African American history which informs our faith of a God and Savior that saves the soul for eternity as he delivers human beings from oppression (whether that oppression is physical, emotional, psychological or spiritual).

 

We are a Missionary Baptist Church which means, that we believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ and good works should be done by the Church, beginning at home and then spread all around the world.  We are therefore partners with Missionary Conventions and Associations locally and nationwide.  Call us, or visit us for more information on the work that the "risen" Christ is doing with us and among us.
