February 17 - Great Big News for Haiti! The shipment of rice has arrived!!!
Yesterday we received word that 40,000 lbs of rice has arrived at our port in Haiti. We are now feeding 2,500 people every week. We still need $5000 to finish paying for this shipment of rice. Special thanks to Bob Keller who raised over $12,000 to send this shipment.
The next shipment containing 44 pallets of medical supplies, food, and special donations for the Owen family will arrive by February 28. So far all the trucking has been donated by the sweetest little trucker in Lebanon, KY!
February 3 2010 Update!
What a weekend! We are still getting deliveries dropped off! It's been amazing. One shipment is totally full and we have enough for a second. Bud and I both agree this is the largest collection we have ever seen in the history of working with Mom and Dad. Wow! Thank you all. Please continue to send in your financial support as making sure the second shipment goes in is contingent upon the funds showing up.
Here are some pics from this crazy weekend! Special thanks to the good people in Lebanon KY who helped pack crates and worked the warehouse all week! WOW GOD!

I was able to talk to Mom for just a few minutes on the phone just now. As I told her very quickly of all the good things people are doing for Waves of Mercy she was definitely overwhelmed with emotion. God is working through so many people. I told her of the churches who have stepped up and had prayer for them and those who had contributed with monetary gifts as well as collections of food, meds, and other needs. I told her of the folks who have poured out their lives before Bud and I as they have told us how ministering to Haiti has ministered to their own personal lives.
The phone call only lasted but a few minutes but I can tell you it was an encouragement to us both of God's Mighty Tower of Strength and His Presence and Comfort. Thank you all for what you are doing.
I asked Mom if there was anything I could bring in for her personally and she just laughed and said she could really go for a rootbeer and some doritos with dip! Now that's my Momma! Wow I miss her! Daddy asked for Skyline Chili! Some things just don't change.
My brother Bud has been receiving supplies for the past two days from folks all over the country. If you are coming his way with a shipment, please leave him a message and he will get back with you. His number is 270-692-2458. Today alone he received shipments from Eminence KY, western KY, and Lexington, KY. By the end of the week, we will have received shipments from Calhoun, KY; Peoria, IL; Colorado; Indiana; and other parts of KY. On Sunday, shipments will be coming from the folks in my neck of the woods-- Ohio!!!
For those of you who have made a monetary donation, Bud and I are making the deposits and doing the book work that Mom would normally do. We will be sending receipts and want to assure you that your financial gifts are being deposited.
Please keep our family in your prayers. Mom and Dad were scheduled to fly out during the second week of February; however, it is unlikely that there will even be planes coming out. Regardless, Dad will be staying until the shipment arrives. If flights do start up again, Mom will only come out to take care of their personal and mission financial matters and then will fly back in.
If you are packing for Haiti. Please try to pack like items together in boxes before you drop them off. Then use the color code below by either taping or spray painting your box accordingly. Food - green Medical supplies - red Toiletries - yellow Miscellaneous - blue Clothing items and sheets can be used as packing "filler" for the boxes.

Update this morning from Mom:
Ti Francois who was one of our boys but had been kicked out for throwing rocks at the church and people was brought to me this morning in the back of a pick up truck. He looked dead, barely breathing. Dad had given him money to go to his grandmothers at Gonnaives. He fell in with the wrong crowd and this morning he was laid him in front of the mission. He had choked on his vomit, has internal bleeding and a head injury. I was so upset...they took him to St. Louie and he is having surgery now.
Dr. Bush is here and doing a clinic at the church. We are having lots of Port-au-Prince people come to be treated as the word got out on the street.
This morning I had 5 college-age girls and 4 little boys and a little girl come for clothes. One of the children was in the building when it crashed. They are living with some people at Twa Rivea -they are all cousins. They are so worried about their school.
Then a young man comes up, I said "what can I do for you?" He said, "I need the possiblity to live." I gave him peanut butter and money to buy bread and sent him to Twa Rivea to see Daddy.
January 25, 2010 - Updates from Mom
You know the thing I am really hurting for is dresses for young girls about 5 to 12. I keep telling the haitians that american girls don't wear dresses and so I don't get very many dresses. And some of the skirts that are coming in to me is way too short. I think the little children have no problem wearing shorts and pants but even today I had four girls, I like to have never found three outfits apiece to fit. I have 11 kids coming later today and I am afraid this is going to be a problem.
It is hard to comprehend the sorrow. Dad is pictured in front of the One-Stop Market. For more than 30 years, this has been our one stop for everything. Overwhelming... Please pray for my family in Haiti. While they are helping they too are grieving a horrible pain.
January 21, 2010 - 11:53 a.m. Wow! We woke up today with this site going a little haywire.
I did speak with Mom via email this morning. They are bracing themselves for 10 more busloads of refugees. They are headed to two different villages in search of antibiotics. If you have any connections to secure antibiotics, please make those contacts that we can ship them in!
Please be in prayer for Mom and Dad. It's very difficult to be poured out among the people without any relief in sight. However, every report I am able to give to them has resulted in tears of joy on their part. God bless all of you!
We are getting items ready to be shipped. Please coordinate your shipping needs through my brother Bud Owen @ 270-692-2458 or myself, Lori Trousdale @614-506-3694.
I am posting a set of guidelines put together by our friends from Southland Christian Church who was there the last time items were shipped to Haiti. It's great information on what we can and cannot use!
Top 5 Tips on Donating Items for Haiti
While it’s nice to clean out your garage or your attic, and get rid of stuff that’s been accumulating for years, keep in mind that not ALL your treasures may be useful in the Caribbean. With that in mind, we have compiled a short list of the Top 5 Tips to keep in mind when sending a box of goodies to the mission to be shipped to Haiti.
Since our group was at the mission during the last shipment in – and helped unload eight pallets of “treasures,” in the very limited confines of the mission’s current space, we have some hints to help you choose and package items that will be most helpful to our friends in Haiti.
5. Please don’t send clothing beyond repair. Clothing does not have to be brand new, but it does need to be wearable. We unpacked many items beyond use -- torn, stained, broken, mildewed, or simply worn out. If you wouldn’t wear it yourself, or you wouldn’t put it on your child, please don’t send it.
4. Please send clothing weather-appropriate for Haiti. Please send what you would consider spring or summer clothing. Remember – it’s HOT in Haiti. Clothing for women should have short sleeves, and be of breathable material. Think of the hottest day in your town when picking out clothing to send. Since they are used to the heat, they do get cool on “winter” evenings, so lightweight blazers or jackets are also appropriate.
3. Please send modest clothing. For the most part, if you wonder if it’s suitable, it’s probably not. Shorter than knee-length skirts, skin tight shirts and tight jeans won’t be worn. And culturally, Haitians “dress” for church. While the mission makes it a point to welcome everyone to church no matter how they are dressed, most folks still really want dressy clothes for church. Most needed items for women and girls are skirts, blouses and dresses (smaller sizes for women, there are not many plus size Haitian women). Men and boys look for khaki or dress pants and long-sleeved, button down dress shirts.
2. If you send shoes, please match them and hook them together in pairs. Tie the shoelaces together, use a zip tie or rubber band them together. We had thousands of shoes to sort through in the last shipment, and few, if any, of them were matched. Needless to say, that was a difficult chore in limited space at the mission! And please make sure they have some life left in them before sending! And both men and women both love black dress shoes.
1. Keep “like things” together. If you are sending a box of miscellaneous items, please sort through them on your end, and put like things together. If your box of goodies includes a bunch of small toys, a dozen or so medicines, school supplies, and toothbrushes, please separate them into “toys,” “meds,” “school supplies,” and “dental” – then bag and label so they don’t have to be re-sorted later.
Keep in mind each item you donate costs the mission a significant amount of money to ship in…so if it’s unusable, it’s not only a waste of space, it’s also a waste of precious dollars that could be used to provide food and other essentials to someone in need. And don’t be afraid to send a long a check to cover some of the shipping costs as well! That would be an extra-special blessing!

I received this on my Facebook page from Frantz. If you are a facebook member you may find it easier to keep up with what is going on. Befriend me: Lori Trousdale and you will be able to see the communication between me and my family.
Frantz writes to me via facebook: hello my sister how are you doing?Oh We were very tired going up and going down to find some children who lot they parents(orphans)guess what?We don't find none of them,we try to contact some poeple to get more information but they don't know nothing also.So we run the town, went to the park,go to the soccer field, went ...to the rescue places hum hum no result for that. But i left my phone number so there is a guy who will contact me if he has some information.Sister i can tell you the all town are completely a mess and life is really difficult there,no gaz,no electricity,no food,no water and those who have some rise up the price.
Lori: O Frantz so many people are praying for you. I thank you for all you are doing!
Frantz: Dad has to sleep on the grass last night because there no place at the hotel and tonight is going to be the same. But tomorrow we will head to P-D-P please pray for us.For now haiti will go out of food in next couple months, because right now at P-D-P things are beginning to change. The price of everything is rise up,in the town gonna go out of food because P-A-p can't provide for P-D-P and the other cities. So that is going to be very hard for Haiti,so please pray for Haiti and for everybody. So in the list Earthquake relief we will need some food like rice, beans, corn, and others...I will send you the pictures that i took may be tomorrow or the next few days.
I was also able to speak with Frantz via instant message. He is doing well although he and Dad are both planning on sleeping on the grass again tonight. He kept saying how everything was very expensive and that the mosquitos were so bad because of all the death. He and Dad should be returning to Port-de-Paix tomorrow. Frantz final words to me: God bless America.
January 16, 2010 7:11 PM UPDATE
Dad returns - No orphans found in PAP but busloads dropped off in PdP
Wow! This day has been full of ups and downs. The morning started with 3 busloads of wounded dropped off at the Port-de-Paix hospital. They had been bussed up from PAP. The wounded were dropped off without meds, food, clothing, and water. In Haiti, if you are brought to a hospital, your family is expected to provide everything you need. How does that happen if you have no family???
Meanwhile, Dad was combing the streets in PAP looking for the 100s of orphans protrayed by the media. In reality, Dad did not find any children running the streets. They did not leave any area unturned. No orphans were found. He feels that most likely these children had been bussed to other villages.
And then, Dad made contact with Mom and it all made sense. It was important for Dad to go to PAP in order to obtain funds. It was important for him to go to have a point of reference in order to truly feel at peace at what God called him to do. While Dad could have found 50 orphans or homeless people and brought them home. What an unseen blessing that they were delivered without him! And now, it is very important for him and Mom to begin ministering to the 100+ people that have been dropped off at the hospital. All resources collected by you will be sent to Haiti to minister to these orphaned families. Any financial aid that can be given is of particular importance as we need to be able to secure housing for these individuals when they are able to leave the hospital. We need financial assistance in order to by diesel fuel - today diesel costs $20 a gallon!
Please help as you can by clicking on the Earthquake relief button above and making a financial donation. Please gather those you work with, worship with, hang with and ask them to donate food and meds that can be used to minister to the hospitalized. Mom and Dad will be going to the hospital tomorrow to being working with all the wounded as there are simply not enough nurses or doctors.
Please see and excerpt from a letter from Mom below:
The gas is $20 american a gallon. The port de paix hospital is full of the injured. I m sure when Dad gets back we will help these people. jody just sent 50 mattresses to go to port de paix. lots of people are coming up this way. lots of problems getting back from jody's people especially in gonnaives.
so this is the newest. we are only on 4 hours of diesel and very little water getting pumped here.
so you see the money is needed right now so bad. the supplies going by plane is not hardly fast enough.
later, momma
I am reminded often of a sermon of my Dad's with the main point being that God wants you to use what's in your hand to do His work. So I simply ask you to inventory what you have: your resources, your talents, your connections - what's in your hand that you can do for God and the people of Haiti.
I have been remiss in acknowledging a key piece to the entire process of getting all of these donations to the airport - my brother, Bud, in Lebanon KY is coordinating the shipping of everything. If you are bringing items down to ship, please call him at 270-692-2458. Bud has been able to secure a warehouse and driver to truck everything down to Miami! Please call him.

DAD IS IN PORT AU PRINCE!
We received word from Mom: Dad made it to the Visa Lodge in PAP around 7 p.m. this evening. He met up with Jose, my brother-in-law from NWHCM. He is worn out but already assessing the situation. He reported to Mom that many UN folks have started moving out of the tent city areas as there is a fear of gangs and rioting due to the lack of food and security.
Please pray for Dad's security as he tries to find supplies. While the streets are dangerous, Dad's experience in the country will definitely play out. I can still remember the days of the coup with Papa Doc when Dad and Martin Whited (a director with NWHCM) took back vehicles confiscated by the government. Dad's not Rambo anymore, but he still has that same fight in him for his Lord, his country, and the children of Haiti. Stay tuned to this page for more information. We will post as we receive information from Mom.
January 15, 2010 11:13 a.m.
I want to apologize if you have received this information more than once. In trying to cover the website, emails, and facebooks - its hard to keep track of whose getting what! :) Thank God my twitter is on the fritz!
Hello Folks!
I hope this note finds you living in the Spirit of the Lord and hopeful for great things! While the country lays in turmoil, we are bound and determined to seek out God's Will for His people.
With that said, I wanted to bring you up to speed on WOM efforts. Dad finally made it up to see Mom who had been taking care of Jody at NWCHM. He was definitely broken over seeing so many killed. As Dad and Mom prayed and watched the news unfold, the call to pure religion took over...that or just the call to beat Satan (not sure which came first). Last night, Dad and two other Haitian brothers began plans to bring back 50 newly orphaned children from the capitol city to their mission in Port-de-Paix. They will be keeping some at their home, some at the church, some will stay at church members homes, and some will even come to NWHCM if the need comes up.
What do we need from you?
PRAY: I hope this isn't too redundant but we need you to pray. With the roads being blocked, its hard to even get my head around the idea of picking up 50 children and getting them up the mountain. Dad just says, "I'm a Vietnam Vet so I think I can handle this!" And praise God Mom just says, "Well, why don't you let God have a crack at it first!" :) Regardless, I know those children are in good hands. But pray anyway :)
MONETARY and PRODUCT DONATIONS: We need both. We need monetary donations to get the children up the mountain, to secure diesel fuel, and to take care of immediate needs. However, as the country begins to run out of supplies, we need peanutbutter, beans, rice, white sheets, sleeping bags, youth clothing, and first aid type medical supplies as well as cold meds and ibuprofen type items. If you or your church or business, can help in any of these areas that would be greatly appreciated. If you have already started on this - God bless you! You may give a monetary donation at www.mercysaves. org by clicking on the Earthquake Relief button. Or you can collect items until January 31 and then make arrangements to have these items in KY to be loaded on a semi-trailer on February 1.
Whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated. ..and will have an untold impact on you and the ones who receive it.
God bless you all,
Lori Trousdale

January 13, 2010 10:30 p.m.
Folks,
I am writing on behalf of Momma Owen. She called this evening. The seminary and trade schools that many of our orphans attended has been destroyed. All are lost. This was down in the capital city. Please continue to pray for Mom and Dad and our many other friends in Haiti. It is definitely not easy to hear of such losses. These were our friends and many that we grew up with.
I have talked to Momma about what we can do. We are trying to collect items to be shipped directly to their port and bypass the capital. This will allow them to have what they need as the supply lines up the mountain are going to be jammed or are impassible.
These are items we are collecting: peanutbutter, beans, rice, meds for coughs and colds, aspirin, ibuprofen, and tylenol. We also need white sheets for burials. Our goal is to collect until January 31. Then get these items to the home base in Versailles and take by rider truck to Miami to be placed on a ship. We need these items as well as funds for the shipment. This burden is too great for one person, one church, or even one community to bear. Please tell your personal story of Haiti and my parents work to anyone who will listen and help Waves of Mercy. We are now able to accept donations via this site. Please click on Earthquake relief above.
God Bless,
Lori Trousdale
If you plan to help with collecting please contact me via my personal email: trousdalelori@yahoo.com and I will make arrangements for receiving or pick up of items.
Earthquake Update January 13 - 6:20 PM
We have heard from my Dad and he is safe. Praise the Lord. We are now working on how to help the village of Trois Rivye. While the village has not been hit hard structure-wise, due to the supply line being closed from Port-au-Prince the village will soon run out of supplies. How can you help?
#1- Pray! In a country dedicated to Satan, guess who is getting credit for this destruction? In some form or fashion, Satan is getting his face time. The people are either paying him homage because he did this or they are paying him homage so he won't do it anymore. Please pray for the salvation of these people.
#2- Collect peanutbutter, rice and beans We need meds to fight the common cold, white sheets to be used for burials, even light blankets can be used. We need all of these items collected by January 31. Contact Lori Trousdale at trousdalelori@yahoo.com and she will make arrangements to get these items picked up and loaded on a semi.
#3 - Donate money. We need money to cover the cost of diesel. With the capital in shambles, diesel fuel which is needed to run everything from generators to vehicles will go sky-high. We will try to buy what we can and ship it or use the money to buy the fuel there whichever is cheaper. Finally, money will be used to pay for shipping. We expect the shipping costs to be right at $5000 american dollars. This website will be able to accept credit cards soon but until then, please send money directly to Waves of Mercy at PO Box 516, Versailles, KY 40383 and we will deposit the money immediately. 100% of all money will go to Haiti.
If you have any questions please contact Lori Trousdale, Larry and Diana's daughter, at trousdalelori@yahoo.com
The Voodoo priests in the area are in full force and have tried to come against this mission. Please pray against the darkness. The village of Three Rivers needs Jesus!
Earthquake Update January 12 - 10:36 PM
We have just heard that all of our family is accounted for. Jose, my sister's husband, was in Port-de-Paix when the quake hit. He was staying at the Visa Lodge. He said it acted as a hedge of protection and that he was safe even though the buildings right outside the hotel were crumbling. Please continue to pray for my family tonight. It is much like the destruction of 9/11 as there are people desperately trying to make contact with loved ones. Phone lines are down. Transportation is not moving due to roads being blocked by debris.
In the Northwest where Waves of Mercy is located, the scene is much different as there were some cracks in the walls of buildings but nothing serious. If you would like to donate to Haiti, we ask that you send your donation directly to Waves of Mercy at PO Box 516, Versailles, KY 40383. The funds will be deposited immediately and used as needed to provide aide. We suspect that the real needs for the folks of Port-de-Paix will become more apparent over the next few days. We will post on this site if we need money collected over even need to do a food drive with items to be shipped.
EARHTQUAKE UPDATE
January 12 - 6:59 p.m.
Dad and Mom are fine. However, we are not able to make contact with them as the phone lines are down. Mom was actually with my sister in St. Louis. Dad is in Port-de-Paix. Without phone lines, we are not able to communicate with Dad. We are asking for prayer for the safety of my sister's husband, Jose. Jose was in Port-de-Paix when the earthquake struck and due to the phone lines being down, we have heard nothing.
We will update with any new news. At this point, we need prayer for those who are in terror. With Haiti being a country dedicated to Satan, I can only imagine the true fear in the hearts of the people. However, in the days to come with the mountains crumbling over the roads, supply lines to the North will be cut off and Mom and Dad as well as my sister and brother's mission in the North will be affected.
Pray!
Lori Trousdale, Larry and Diana's daughter
January 4, 2010 - Update from Larry and Diana Owen
Larry and Diana returned to Haiti after a few weeks in the States. The following message was sent to their daughter, Lori, via email.
We had about 300 for the fireworks and prayer and sing time...yes we stayed up until 12. The next day we fed over 1000 children that came by and about 100 adults with lots of peanut butter and bread and chocolate.
We did not have electricity on New Year as our line was broke. The other place was closed and we were beginning to have a pity party. Larry said it will take a miracle for the guy that owns the business to open and give us electricity...well about 7 at night we get it for two hours...long enough to get our fans charged and to watch the end of a game on tv!
I told Daddyo I still believed in miracles and if God wanted us to have some lights then he could do it!
Love, Momma
OUR SHIP CAME IN! WAHOO!
Mourning turns to songs of Praise!
For the last three months, Mom and Dad have been waiting for their ship to come in. It has been held up by storms, by the economy, by the Coast Guard and sometimes by just mean people. But praise the Lord, the ship made it in this past week!
Mom and Dad absolutely had no food! Peanutbutter gone! Coffee gone! Thanksgiving and praise the Lord the ship made it so they could be there to receive it!
On this shipment: food for them personallly, blankets for the church people, shoes for the children going to school, the last half of the shipment of bars we collected money to ship at VBS, pots and pans to cook with... clothing for babies... meds for children... PRAISE THE LORD!
We have so much to tell! Larry will be traveling back to Haiti March 17 but Diana will be staying to help with Jody (our daughter) who is expecting twins. Why don't you give Diana a break and ask her to speak at your church about the great things going on at Waves of Mercy?
Larry preaches to the Haitians about being a light!
Jesus Christ is our only hope!
Momma whipping the guys into shape!
The Light...becomes real at the River! These folks were just baptized signified by the pure white sheets they are wrapped in!

December Update--Finally!
Merry Christmas! Joyeux Noel!
Oops! We've been soooo busy we forgot to update!! November just blew by us after arriving home and having Thanksgiving at our daughter's home. We have received so many gifts of love. We came home to a house full of tubs of clothing donated by Amazing Grace Christian Church, as well as other packages from friends across the country. Everyone jumped on board to collect items for Haiti. We are overwhelmed. Please read more about what we are doing in our December Newsletter by clicking here.
We will be leaving right after Christmas to head back to Haiti and bring in the New Year. When you have four kids in the ministry and a dozen grandchildren...sometimes...Haiti is a retreat!!!
November 12
Mom and Dad were finally able to get some information out on what they have been doing. They have been having problems with internet access and being able to make phone contact due to the hurricane problems. You can click on this link and read what they have been up to!
November 5
Just wanted to update folks that Larry and Diana are in Haiti and have been since October 21. They are planning to return the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and head to their oldest (and favorite) daughter's home in Ohio. They will be sharing a message of evangelism as well as details about Waves of Mercy mission on November 30 at the Amazing Grace Christian Church.
Due to the Hurricane damage earlier to the island, Larry and Diana are not able to check their email on a regular basis and have even had trouble making contact via phone service. Diana actually said that the email service is so slow that when they type their email responses and hit send it takes so long for the email to upload that the system times out and locks them out. If you need anything please email their daughter Lori at trousdalelori@yahoo.com and she will attempt to give them your message.
October 8
Larry made it home and we have not had a moment to spare. We have been traveling to churches, picking up supplies, and tying up loose ends so that we may both return toward the end of October.
We have a new video! Perhaps you can show it to your friends at work, small group, or even get your minister to play it on the big screen at church?
September 18 - Larry Comes Home TONIGHT!
Weary and worn, Larry returns to KY to gather supplies and momentum for next wave of relief to battered Port-de-Paix. Larry hopes to return with Diana at the end of October with clothing, food, and more funds to help get the Haitian people on their feet.
Why did he stay? Why must he return? The pictures below tell the story:
The family above lost everything! Including their clothing!
The street boys continue the work while Papa Larry heads to the States!
September 16
We received the email below from one of the Lord's faithful...
What do you think?
Challenge:
Bruised Reed had a trip planned for November -- to go to Port de Paix, and work with our friends, the ladies in the local brothel. We have changed our plans, and are doing all we can to send money to help with food instead. Perhaps you have been thinking of planning a trip to Haiti as well. If so, and you have not already purchased plane tickets -- might we suggest postponing your trip and sending some of the money you would have spent on the airplane ticket so the local missionaries can buy more food to help with the relief efforts? Or perhaps you have not planned to go, but have been touched by the photos of the people, and their most recent plight with the devastation Hurricane Ike. If so, please consider writing a check to Waves of Mercy to help feed the hundreds of folks they are feeding each day.
Blessings,
Jani Lewis

September 12
Port de Paix rarely makes the news however MSNBC did carry the following photo as witness to the destruction. Click on the link below.
Dad is paying people to help dig out the homes of the Elderly. Hurriance Ike has brought incredible mudslides. In the last 2 days, Dad has fed 1000 peanutbutter sandwiches. We received word from our sister missions that there are bodies being pulled from the rivers and stacked and buried in mass graves. Before a 100 lb bag of rice could be bought for $50- it is now double! Our truck is in however the gas is $20US a gallon. Larry has kept the truck parked and continues to walk everywhere.
Larry reports he continues to feed 400 folks at noon and another 100 folks in the evening. Our mission is now housing 60 homeless Haitians every night. Larry has begun to travel throughout the village and bring rice to those people who have lost everything. We do not want to continue to house the homeless. We want to rebuild so that they can be back on their own.
September 7
Finally, we have pictures. Franz sent these out this a.m. He is so tired. The feeding of the people is still happening everyday. We thought the last hurricane was going to miss them but this morning the river was up again and the airport was once again flooded. Larry couldn't leave even if he wanted too! Feeding 400 people daily is taking its toll on everyone. Larry is there to maintain order and make sure that everyone is fed! He walks the streets daily bringing food to those who cannot make it to the mission. The burden is heavy. As his wife, I ask you to pray for my husband. Thank you to all who have sent relief. My son, Bud, just called to say his church spent the evening praying for the Hurricane victimes. I am overwhelmed with emotion as I see God's people calling out on behalf of the Haitians.
