Ignite Student Ministry
It is our desire to see the youth of this generation rise up as followers of Christ! In Ignite Student Ministries we seek to equip our students with God’s word, worship together, pray for one another, build lasting relationships, and just plain have some fun! We know living for Christ is not exactly a popular thing to do, especially as a teen. Peer pressure, insecurity, relationships, & media distractions are just a few of the elements that make it difficult to live our faith to the fullest. We seek to be an oasis of encouragement amidst this daily battle, and be a reminder that there is true fulfillment only in Jesus.
If you are reading this, and are a student, we would love the chance to get to know you! Ignite is made of people who love to laugh & interact, and it is our desire to see you connected! Every Wednesday night we meet at 7pm, here at TCC! Our time during Ignite consists of praise & worship, a message, fellowship, games, prayer time, & other various activities. We also plan special events & participate in community outreaches, which can be found in your Sunday morning program. It is our tradition to eat after every service at a local fast food joint nearby, so we invite you to come eat some grub with us!
We hope you will consider joining us for a Wednesday night & become connected with other teens who love Jesus! Hope to see you soon!
Romans 12:2 (The Message)
Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
John 15:19 (The Message)
"If you find the godless world is hating you, remember it got its start hating me. If you lived on the world's terms, the world would love you as one of its own. But since I picked you to live on God's terms and no longer on the world's terms, the world is going to hate you.
