alpha

Have you ever wanted to ask basic questions about Christianity, but didn’t know where to begin? Maybe you were afraid of sounding foolish or didn’t want to offend anyone? Well, we would like to offer you an opportunity to freely ask such questions in an informal, friendly and comfortable environment.

Alpha is an 11-week practical exploration of the Christian faith, with loads of opportunity for debate and discussion. Each evening will begin with a meal at 6:30pm. Afterwards, a 40 minute video will be shown, followed by a discussion of the week’s topic. We’ll do our best to always finish by 8:30pm.

We hope you will join us in exploring the validity and relevance of Jesus’ teachings to our lives today. Whether you’re investigating Christianity for the very first time or are a long-time church-attendee longing to examine and deepen your faith, Alpha is for you!

We’ll kick off on Thursday, March 26th with a meal, followed by the first video titled Christianity: Boring Untrue & Irrelevant?  The location will be 3916 Aberdeen Drive in Champaign. Please join us every week for a meal, video and discussion. Free childcare will be provided (please let us know in advance if you plan to bring your kids).
