our values

As a faith community, certain core values lead and guide us as we seek to fulfill the mission and vision that God has called us to.  We value:

Relationships:
People come first. We value a relationship with God and relationships with others above all else. We believe small groups are the best way to connect to these life-changing relationships. (Genesis 2:18; Matthew 22:37-40; Acts 2:43; Hebrews 10:25)

Authenticity:
We value being real with one another – not pretending we have all the answers or wearing masks. (Romans 12:16; Ephesians 4:25; 1 John 1:7-8)

Transformation:
It is impossible to connect to God and connect to others without experiencing life transformation. Life transformation is our goal for every person that comes in contact with Quest. (II Corinthians 5:7)

Worship:
We value worshiping God passionately in every aspect of our lives. (Mark 12:30; Romans 12:1; 1 Corinthians 10:31)
Gift Based Ministry:
We value each one’s unique gifts and talents. They can be used to glorify God! We desire to discover and use them to that end in service to one another and the world! (1 Corinthians 12:7; Romans 12:6; Ephesians 4:16; 1 Peter 4:10)

Outreach:
We value serving God by serving others – especially, the least, the last, and the lost. (Proverbs 3:28; Luke 19:10; John 13:14-15; Ephesians 2:10)

Children:
We value kids! Raising them to know God’s love and become followers of Jesus at an early age is one of our primary missions. (Proverbs 22:6; Mark 10:14-15; Luke 9:47-48)

Prayer:
As a faith community, we recognize that the power of prayer connects us to God while it changes individual lives and transforms the world. (James 5:16)

Relevance:
We value sharing the Biblical message with a new generation in a practical way. We use secular vehicles to drive down spiritual roads. (John 1:14; see Jesus’ ministry!)

The Search:
We value the search we are all on: a search for fulfillment and meaning in life. We will treat all people with respect and consideration as they continue that search. We believe the search ultimately leads to a relationship with Jesus Christ. (Jeremiah 29:13; Matthew 11:28; John 7:37; 1 Peter 3:15)
