The Child Care Ministry at First Presbyterian Church has been developed to serve the members of the congregation and surrounding community. While parents enjoy a break from parenting responsibilities, children are provided a safe, secure, loving and Christian environment with opportunities to socialize with others of a similar developmental age.
Sunday Mornings
Free childcare is available throughout the morning from 8:15 a.m.-12:00 noon. It includes the early worship service beginning at 8:15 a.m., the Praise Service at 9:00 a.m., Sunday School classes at 9:45 a.m. and the traditional worship service at 11:00 a.m.We also offer free childcare for church-sponsored events by reservation. If you plan to attend a meeting, rehearsal, class or event on the church grounds that the church holds, you may reserve child care by contacting Joanna Johns, Director of Child Care Ministry via e-mail (Joanna.Johns@tampabay.rr.com) or phone (727-644-5159).
Parents' Morning Out (PMO)
The children enjoy playtime in a loving and nurturing environment. With the focus on playtime, children will also enjoy crafts, stories, music and time outside on the playground. Snacks are provided too! No reservations needed; first come, first serve.
Monday - Friday
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Ages crawling - 3 years
$18 for the morning

Kids' Night Out
Children ages 2-10 enjoy time outside on the playground, a pizza dinner, crafts and games, snacks and a movie. Kids' Night Out takes place three evenings per month and is by reservation only. Reservations open two weeks prior to the event and two days prior to that for church members. Reservation requests are taken via email or phone (727-644-5159).
