Volstads

Steve and Christy Volstad, along with their three children (Philip - 15, William - 13, and Jessica - 10), have served in Russia with the C&MA for over 10 years. Steve is a missionary kid, having been born in Chile while his parents were serving there as Alliance missionaries. Christy grew up here at FAC. The Volstads have been actively involved in church planting ministry for most of their time in Russia and helped to plant The Moscow Church of the Open Door back in 2004. Currently the Volstads are living in Moscow, Russia where Steve serves as the Project Coordinator for ministry to displaced Central Asian people living and working in Moscow and throughout Russia. Christy serves as the Field Administrator and is involved in mentoring and counseling ministries through the Open Door Church, through a local Pregnancy Resource Center, and at the international school in Moscow where their children attend.
