At First Alliance, we believe that authentic community happens best
in small groups, something that has been practiced by God's people
since the beginning of the church. Small groups at FAC fall into one
of three basic types:
Groups of 8-12 adults (in some cases, with families) who meet
regularly in one another's homes for prayer, fellowship, sharing
God's Word, accountability and building one another up in
deepening relationships. Groups are encouraged to engage
in service projects together, and plan outings together.
These groups are designed to help people manage, with biblical
truth, the struggles common to many during various seasons of life.
Current Life Support Groups include DivorceCare, DivorceCare
for Kids, Financial Peace University, and "Boundaries" classes.
These are groups centered around shared themes or activities, some
designed for sharing and study, and others around common interest.
Current Affinity Groups include Men's Ministry, Alliance Women,
MOPS, W2W, Singles Connection Network, Christian Bowhunters,
seniors shuffleboard and various athletic teams.
