what we believe
Since as Christians we are called by God to become like Jesus, we believe the following character traits help us to Christ-like maturity.
Reaching out to those who need a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
We live this out by reaching out with God's love to the community around us and intentionally inviting non-churched family and friends to experience God's love with us.
1 Corinthians 9:22, I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.
Connecting our lives to God and one another.
We live this out by actively participating in Christ honoring environments for support, accountability, care, growth, and ultimately becoming members.
Acts 2:45-47, They gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.
Growing in our relationship with God in every area of our lives.
We live this out by practicing daily habits that lead to character
formation like Jesus who came to serve.
2 Peter 3:18, grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Serving God and others in loving response to God's love.
We live this out by using our spiritual gifts, heart, abilities, personalities, and experiences to serve in Jesus' name.
Ephesians 6:7, Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men.
Worshipping God in every aspect of our lives.
We live this out by cultivating a lifestyle of praise and worship
that draws us and others to God.
Psalm 34:3, Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt
his name together.
Matthew 22:37, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
