GOD IS GOOD
It is our adamant belief that the fundamental nature of God’s character is goodness. When Moses requested to see the glory of God, our Lord responded by saying, “I will cause all of my goodness to pass in front of you and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence.” (Exodus 33:18-19) The glory of God is His goodness.
WE LIVE FROM HEAVEN TO EARTH
Paul teaches that “our citizenship in is in heaven.” (Philippians 3:20) We are ambassadors of the
EVERYONE IS SIGNIFICANT
We see the fingerprints of God upon humanity. We will live lives of honor toward one another. We live to see people saved, healed, and delivered from the effects of sin, to help them identify their God-given personality, gifts, and purpose, and to see them actively invest themselves in the work of the Kingdom. Knowing that everyone is significant leads me to understand that I am significant.
NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE
LIVE IN THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is the presence of Jesus in the life of a believer. We will live in dynamic relationship with the Holy Spirit as the source, substance, and strength of our lives.
LIVE GOD LOUD
Vibrant worship is the birthright of every believer. We believe worship to be a full contact sport and we will live our lives to make full contact with our Lord on a daily basis in our homes and corporately as we assemble to celebrate our wonderful King.
LIVE IN A COMMUNITY OF FAITH
The clearest and possibly most challenging mandate of our Lord is to live our lives as the Body of Christ. This mandate is fulfilled through relationship in the local church. Active involvement in a Lifegroup is essential for living in community.
LIVE IN PEACE IN YOUR HOME
We will train Christian households for peace-filled living. We will pursue lifestyles marked by healthy marriages, healthy finances, healthy parenting, and healthy relationships for singles.
LIVE TO GIVE
Generosity is the hallmark of God. Jesus clearly teaches “the measure you use will be measured back to you.” We have the capacity to set the parameters of our lives --- spiritually, emotionally, physically. The purpose of the Christian life is to discover and share the gifts God has placed inside of you.
LIVE FOR THE SAKE OF OTHERS
We will live with a missional mindset, knowing that life is about more than our personal comfort. We will represent and proclaim the truth of the gospel to a lost world. It is our ambition that every member of this congregation will see ministry occur in their living room and will minister the gospel on foreign soil. Freely we have received, freely we will give. (Matthew 10:8)
LIVE IN PROSPERTIY OF SOUL AND BODY
Mankind is a triune being consisting of a spirit, soul (mind, will, and emotions), and body (1 Thessalonians ). The book of 3 John verse 2 gives powerful insight into the correlation of a prosperous soul and a prosperous body: “Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.” Psalm 103 beautifully describes the full effect of the cross on our soul and body.
