EFC Sends Team to Brazil

Pastors Mindy von Atzigen and Lorin Lopez will be traveling to Brazil December 7-15 of this year!

Our worship pastor, Mindy von Atzigen, and our children's pastor, Lorin Lopez will be traveling to Rio De Janeiro and Volta Redonda, Brazil with the Global Awakening team in December.  The team will be led by Pastor Randy Clark and will be ministering to thousands in these two cities.  They are expecting to witness God move with healings, miracles, and of course, salvations!  EFC looks forward to the return of our two missionaries and their reports of all God did in Brazil.

Please pray for the following for Mindy, Lorin, and the entire team:
  • safe travel to and from Brazil; the team will be comprised of people from all over the world
  • financial provision for the trip; each team member will need to raise over $3,000 for airfare, lodging, and food
  • health and protection for all team members and their families at home
  • for God to prepare the way in the hearts of the people they will come in contact with while in Brazil and even in their travels
  • for increased ability to listen to God's voice and courage to obey what He asks

Below is more information, offered by Global Awakening, about the cities and churches they will be ministering alongside, as well as some testimonies from other trips to Brazil:
 
Rio De Janeiro
We first met pastor Alexandre last year when Randy and Tom preached at his church with a team of about 40 people. While Randy and Tom ministered in this church of 3,000, there were many healings, signs and wonders.  Remarkable testimonies were recounted!

One man had a grapefruit-size cancerous tumor which had spread throughout his digestive system. When the doctors performed surgery to remove the cancer, they found that it was too wide spread.  They immediately closed him back up and told him that he only had a few days to live.  With this news, he went to the revival service where Randy and the Global team were ministering. A team member prayed for him, and the next thing you know the huge tumor was gone!  The man felt great and went home knowing that he was healed. The next day he went back to the doctors and told them what happened. They tried to prove to him that it was impossible, but all the tests proved he was completely healed!

This is a Baptist church which has been experiencing its own private revival since they started believing and seeking for more of God and has tremendous growth.


Volta Redonda
This church has been eagerly waiting for Global Awakening to return.  When the pastor told his church that it had finally worked out for Global Awakening and Randy to return, the church rejoiced with loud cheers.

 
They have just inaugurated their new temple with five thousand seats and they expect to fill every single one of them when Randy and the team comes.  They have a great expectation about what the Lord will do through Randy and the Global team.
