Pastor Donnie Mooney was born in Mobile, Alabama in 1971 and spent most of his childhood in Daphne, Alabama. He made a decision to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was filled with the power of the Holy Spirit at the age of eighteen while attending a youth camp in Springville, Alabama. He was called in to full-time ministry at the age of nineteen while attending Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri during winter college days.
Pastor Donnie attended Central Bible College where he received a Bachelors Degree in Bible/Theology in 1998. He has fourteen years experience in youth ministry serving as youth pastor at Belton Assembly of God in Belton, Missouri, as youth pastor at Christian Life Church in Orange Beach, Alabama and as youth Pastor at Braeswood Church in Houston, Texas before accepting the position as Assimilation Pastor.
Pastor Donnie’s experience has allowed him to become familiar with people development in the church and on the public school campus. He also has experience in building programs and design. He has been a part of great ministry teams, developed Wednesday night services, led weekly leadership meetings, weekly Bible clubs, effective internship programs, and chaired quarterly parent’s meetings. He has been privileged to see forty-eight students called into full-time ministry and countless others changed by the immutable love of God.
Donnie and his wife, Chrisanna, have one son Maddax Chase and one daughter Micah Grace.
