Zeke Listenbee has been a piano player since age 5. He had seen his father play the organ and wanted to play it, too. “I remember going to my church and the summer I spent three to four hours a day learning to play the organ,” he said. Listenbee, who grew up in New Albany, Miss., (“on the highway between where Elvis was born and where he died,” he said) is the worship pastor at Braeswood Church in Houston, Texas, overseeing the band, orchestra, choir and singers during the services. Whether arranging, producing or conducting, Zeke Listenbee brings a refreshing new sound to the music industry. Combining the elements of Gospel, Rock, Jazz, Funk and Blues, his Horn and String Arrangements are stellar. Making music with audacious quality is his business. Zeke Listenbee produced the title track for Blues icon Sam Mosley’s album “The Whole World Still Got the Blues.” Zeke Listenbee’s Gospel songs can be found in the latest album of Grammy Award Winner Dorinda Clark-Cole. Listenbee is the writer of “Holy One,” “We Believe” and “This is Why.” He has also worked with CCM legend David Huff. Zeke Listenbee married his wife Cintia in 2006, they have two children.
