Rev. David Tabler
is a graduate of Owosso Bible College, Western Michigan University, and has a Master's in administration from Western Michigan University.
He worked as an Associate pastor and youth leader for 35 years. He also taught school for 26 years until his retirement in 1995.
Since then, he has worked as an On-Call Chaplain in the local hospitals and nursing homes. During the winter of 2007, he served as an interim pastor in Port Charlotte, FL.
His favorite activities are camping and running. He has run 100 miles in four days for the American Cancer Society 21 years. He loves to read and study.
Ruthann Tabler attended Owosso Bible College where she met Dave. She and Dave were married June 20,1964. Ruthann graduated from Michigan State University in 1964.
She taught school for 32 years, and still substitutes for the local schools. She has taught SS, led VBS, worked as Co-Director of the Michigan District girls camp,and also worked many years at youth camps.
The Tabler's have four adopted children: 2 sons; Leon and Dennis; 2 daughters; Kaye and June; 12 grandchildren, and 5 great grandsons.
