The Sunday school lesson is produced and aired in a magazine format similar to the historic "Sunday Evening Club". It provides the Sunday viewing audience with life application and analysis of scripture from the vantage point of Sunday school teachers, pastors, seminarians, seminary professors, Christian Educators and other bible scholars.
Rev. Janette C. Wilson hosted the first broadcast of the Sunday School Lesson in 1992, with Deacon Estes Evans, (the deceased, brother of Rev. Clay Evans) as her first guest. The original, camera crew, and the participants were all volunteers organized by Deacon James Dixon who served as the program's first producer. During the first six months, interest in the program began to swell among the churches and pastors began to participate. The program is divided into three segments:
- Sunday School Lesson
- Ministry in Action/Health Ministry
- Youth Talk Back
