music & worship
Our Sunday morning worship style reflects who we are as a church, so it is diverse! We blend up-beat contemporary songs with gospel and classic hymns, and it is always led by a live band and vocalists.
FTC has a volunteer driven worship ministry led by our Worship Pastor, Micayla Burnes, which strives to develop an environment where people can connect with God. We believe in excellence and giving God our best. We would love to explore the possibilities of having you on our team.
Band Ministry
Our band is a basic 5 piece set: Drums, Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar and Keys. Sometimes we have opportunities for other instruments such as brass, woodwinds, etc. If you play and would like to set up an audition or would like to know more about volunteering, please email worship@wlafaith.org.
Vocal Ministry
The Vocal Team is chosen through audition. Vocalist are included and attend Worship/Band/AV Practices on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm as well as prayer sessions before the Sunday worship service. This team of volunteers may also serve as requested during special music segments.
Audio/Visual Team
The Audio/Visual Team's Mission is to enhance worship, message and media by creating an environment where people can connect with Christ. Sunday worship services are accomplished primarily by volunteer team members. Audio/Visual Team Positions include Sound Technician, Worship Graphics Coordinator, and Recording Coordinator. The A/V Team is challenged to bring God honoring excellence to his/her position week after week.
