"Stop at the cross-roads; look for the ancient paths; ask, where is the way that leads to what is good" (Jer 6:16, NEB) A crossroad is a moment of decision, and it is our desire at the Crossroad Church to help people make Healthy Choices.
We believe that mankind is a product of God's creative love. Our Heavenly Father made us in His image as moral beings with the freedom to make our own decisions. Thus, life is a process of CHOICES and CONSEQUENCES, not CHANCE and CIRCUMSTANCES.
God loves us so much that He gave us the choice to receive and return His love, or to reject His love, and choose another god. The tragic reality of life is that many of God's children make bad choices and we hurt one another and grieve the heart of God. Many blame God for the evil in this world, but all evil can be traced to a bad choice by someone who failed to act according to God's Love and Truth.
The Bible calls these bad choices SIN. Sin is the failure to make healthy choices to live according to God's principles of success. On the CROSS road, Jesus loved us so much that He died to pay the penalty.
