ESL (English as a Second Language)
English as a Second Language (ESL) is another local ministry of UBC. Call UBC at 817.926.3318 or the Director, Dorothy Parker at 817.292.5584 to register or for additional information.
There are two ESL classes here at UBC:
Tuesday mornings - 9:30-11:30am
January 15 - May 14, 2013
*No class on March 12.
Wednesday evenings - 6:30-8:30pm
January 16 - May 15, 2013
*No class on March 13.*

Mision de Paz also has two ESL classes:
Monday morning and Monday evening

Tuesday evenings

All of these classes could use more volunteer teachers because the smaller the groups, the more effective they are. Training is available to those who volunteer. We also need a van driver for the Tuesday morning UBC class to pick up the ladies for the class. The Tuesday evening class at Seminary Hills Park Elementary School needs additional help with preschool child care and Good News Club.
