We are so excited that you have taken the time to check out Garden Lakes Baptist Church. We are a ministry to teens in the Rome, Georgia / Floyd County area. We believe that God has a huge plan for you and we want to do our part in helping you fulfill all that God has in store for your life. Our youth ministry is a place where students can have a place to belong, learn what they believe and become the person God wants them to be.
We offer three ongoing weekly events for students in 6th Grade - 12th Grade:
Sunday Morning - 9:45 am-10:45 am - Youth Sunday school rooms, near Fellowship Hall
Sunday Evening - 5:45 pm-7:00 pm - Youth room/Gym
Wednesday Evening - 6 pm-7:15 pm - Youth Bible Study in the Youth room/Gym (includes free snack supper)
Each program is designed specifically with students in mind. We incorporate small group studies and mission projects as well as times of worship for our students.
In addition to our weekly programs, we also offer summer camp, March Mission Madness, retreats, overnight trips, mission activities, and other events throughout the year.
