The College is located in the Syler Tabernacle building on Oakwood Avenue in the northeast section of Huntsville, Alabama. Oakwood Avenue runs east and west of Memorial Parkway (Highways 431-231), which is the main artery for leading north and south of the city of Huntsville.
Huntsville Bible College (formerly Huntsville Baptist Institute) was founded in 1986 by the Mallard Creek Primitive Baptist Association for the purpose of training Christians for leadership positions as pastors, ministers, teachers, mission workers, and servants for the Lord.
The College offers a Certificate in Biblical Studies, three Associate of Arts degrees, three Bachelor of Arts degrees, and a Bachelor of Theology degree. The curriculums include courses in biblical/theological studies, general education, and professional studies.
HBC is a participating charity in the Tennessee Valley Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).
