Ebola Relief Project

The churches of the Liberian Evangelical Mission, our partners in Liberia, are working to prevent the spread of Ebola in their communities.  All the churches are located in the capital city of Monrovia.  All of the churches are located in highly susceptible areas for Ebola to spread.  Together they are concentrating their efforts on educating the public on proper hygiene to prevent Ebola.  They are also distributing sanitizer and medicated hand soaps to assist in their efforts.  The number of Ebola cases in Liberia has risen to at least 249, with 129 deaths.  President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Sunday closed most of the country’s land borders and the public schools.  The situation is serious and is anticipated to get much worse.  Please help our brothers and sisters to minister to the people in their communities in the name of Jesus.
