Multimedia for Guest Speakers

The Sanctuary and chapels at Beaverton Foursquare are equipped with projection systems to display multimedia. If you'd like to send your sermon outline to our team (PowerPoint@beavertonfoursquare.org), at least one week before you are scheduled to speak, we'll put the presentation together to fit the room. Generally speaking, the sooner we get it, the better it will look.

For the do-it-yourself creators:
In the Sanctuary:
The presentation software we use is called MediaShout. It can import some PowerPoint shows. Graphics and other slides should be 1280 pixels wide by 550 pixels tall. It is best to keep your important content in the top two thirds of any slide. You'll be standing in front (blocking the view) of the bottom third. Videos should be wide format (16:9), delivered on a DVD that works in a standard consumer DVD player. If possible, it is advisable to also bring a backup Quicktime movie, compressed as a .mov in h.264 with an audio codec of AAC. We've had unreliable results watching videos straight off the Internet. If you don't understand these technical details, please send your sermon outline to PowerPoint@beavertonfoursquare.org.

In the East or West Chapel:
The presentation software we use is called MediaShout. It can import some PowerPoint shows. The West Chapel also has Easy Worship. Graphics and other slides should be 1024 pixels wide by 768 pixels tall. Standard format (4:3) videos look best, on a DVD that works in a standard consumer DVD player. If possible, it is advisable to also bring a backup Quicktime movie, compressed as a .mov in h.264 with an audio codec of AAC. The screens in the chapels are overhead, so feel free to use the entire slide for important content. Again, if you don't understand these technical details, please send your sermon outline to PowerPoint@beavertonfoursquare.org.
