B4 You Visit

Top 10 ways to a stress-free first visit:

  1. When do I show up?
    • We have four services each Sunday.
      • 8:00 am (children’s ministries – 5th grade)
      • 9:30 am (children’s ministries-6th grade, jr. high service)
      • 11:15 am (children’s ministries – 6th grade, high school service)
      • 6:00 pm (young adult gathering in a more contemporary relational setting).
  2. How do I get there?
We’re located at 13565 SW Walker Road, Beaverton, OR 97005. Map and driving directions.
  3. What do I wear?
You’ll find that we have a pretty inclusive mix of clothing – shorts, jeans, slacks, dresses, – whatever you feel most comfortable to attend Sunday worship with us.
  4. What about parking?
We have two entrances, both are staffed by deputies EVERY week as there is a pretty full crowd coming in, heading out, and crossing the street between our two lots. Leaving a few extra minutes for this process usually helps. Another hint is to pull into our most West entrance which gives you DIRECT access to our VISITOR lot. It is very convenient for connection to our Children’s Ministries, the Student Ministries building as well as our main sanctuary (see map). We also have handicap and senior parking directly along the back of the main building and in front of our main doors.
  5. Where do I go once I arrive?
    • MAP
    • Children? Simply come to the Welcome Center just across from the big staircase in the foyer and someone will help to direct you to specific areas.
    • No children? (or, if you want to keep your children with you.) Go directly to Sanctuary for all services.
    • Children 7th-12th Grade? The Student Ministries building houses our jr. high service during 9:30 and the High School service during 11:15.
    • Need some caffeine? We have free coffee, tea and other beverages in our “Family Room” on the east wing of the lobby.
    • Sermon CD’s (current and past sermons) and other items: Resource Center at south wing of the lobby or visit our Media Library.
  6. Children’s Ministries and Check-in.
Children’s ministries has always been a core foundation of Beaverton Foursquare. Children’s Ministries is like family to us.  We take caring for your children extremely seriously and so have a secure check-in, and check-out system to ensure this.
  7. Welcome Center.
If you get lost or need some help, be sure to stop off at the Welcome Center in the lobby just in front of the grand staircase. There you’ll find a bunch of friendly volunteers who will answer your questions and help you find your way around.
  8. Worship Service:
While you're in service, we’d appreciate it if you’d fill out a Connection Card so we know you were here. They are the same as our Prayer Cards so feel free to ask for prayer on that too. We really do read and pray over each one and would love to partner with you in that. You can drop it in the offering as it goes by or leave it in one of the boxes as you exit the auditorium.
  9. No Expectations.
As a visitor you won’t be singled out in any way. You can remain completely anonymous if you want. But don’t be surprised if you can’t make it out the door without people greeting you and trying to make you feel welcome and at home.
  10. Feeling at Home in a big place.
  11. It’s true, B4 is a big place with a ton of stuff going on all the time. But the truth is, it can also be one of the smallest churches you’ll ever attend, just 10-16 people. That’s true because we seek worship like the early church did in the book of Acts, in the Temple courts and from house to house. Our small groups meet all across this city (and others) on every day of the week. Kind of how we want to be living and loving like Jesus – all across this city (and others) every day of the week. While you’re here, please stop by Welcome Center. There you can get some more information about all the options available to you for plugging-in here at Beaverton Foursquare. Welcome.
