To Roosevelt Heights Church of God in Christ 
Our purpose is to unify and mobilize the body of Christ to reach the city and the world for Jesus Christ.
Under the leadership of Pastor, Dr. John W. Penton, Sr., the Roosevelt Heights congregation learn to live out their faith through practical application of the Word of God as taught in weekly Bible studies and Sunday school.
Pastor Penton believes that God has enabled and empowered Roosevelt Heights leadership to assist members in discovering and using their spiritual gifts to serve the church and the community. 
 
The church membership has continued to grow while reaching out through its ministries, to serve those seeking God and His blessings. Because of God's faithfulness to His people,  Roosevelt Heights has been blessed to move into their new church home.
