Pastor C. MeGill Brown
C. MeGILL BROWN, a native of Savannah, GA, was born on September 19, 1969. He received his early childhood education in the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System. A 1987 graduate of Savannah High School, Pastor Brown matriculated to Columbus College (Columbus State University), Columbus, GA, and Georgia Southern College (University) where he received a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Music Education and Masters of Education. Post graduate studies also include a Masters of Christian Education and Doctor of Philosophy.
Pastor Brown is a member of the Historic First African Baptist Church, Savannah, GA where he served as Minister of Music and Youth Minister. He is the former Pastor of the First African Baptist Church, Hilton Head Island, SC where he also served as Campus Minister and Band Director at Hilton Head High School.
Presently, Brown is the Pastor of the Second African Baptist Church, Savannah, GA where he has served since 1998. He is also the Past President of the New Era Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia Congress of Christian Education.
Pastor Brown holds the following memberships: Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Phi Mu Alpha Professional Music Fraternity, Progressive National Baptist Convention, New Era Missionary Baptist Convention and Curtis V. Cooper Primary Health Care Board of Directors.
C. MeGill Brown is married to Adrienne Melissa Brown and they have one son, Corey MeGill Brown, II.
