Book & Breakfast Club
The Book and Breakfast Club has been meeting for breakfast and a book discussion since summer 2002. We currently meet at the Black Bear Diner restaurant in Federal Way at 9:30 AM the fourth Monday of each month. We usually have six to fifteen readers, mostly (but not all) Wayside people. We read a variety of books - fiction, classics, biographies, history, current affairs - as long as the book is available in paperback. Book purchase is not required - we share books, and use the library as well as a variety of bookstores.
We read one book a month, and pick 5 or 6 at a time, by consensus of what we all feel like reading. It is not required that you finish a book in order to discuss it - in fact, we may voice our opinions on books whether we have read them or not. There is no leader, formal discussion, or anything that smacks of book reports - just fun conversation - and, of course, food.
You are welcome to join us!
