Children

 "But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.”" (Luke 18:16-17)

Our children's ministry offers a variety of ways to move children toward Jesus. Through Bible Fellowship Classes, our children learn to study God's Word and relate to other children. Our Children's Church programs teach children how to be involved in worship, preparing them for the time when they come to "big church" for worship.

 

On Sunday nights, the U.P. Upward Praise Service is offered to all kids from K5 to the 5th grade.  This service takes place on Sunday nights at 6:00 pm in the education building during the evening worship service.  Here the kids spend time studying the Word of God and shouting out His praises!

 

On Wednesday nights, our AWANA program teaches children how to hide the Word of God in their hearts by memorizing Scripture, allowing them time to have fun playing games and interacting with others.
