The mission of the Care Unit is to exemplify the love of Jesus Christ by fulfilling His great commission to feed the hungry, cloth the naked and meet the needs of the sick and shut in. (Matthew 25:35-40)
This outreach ministry was birth with a burden to fulfill the needs of new converts who were in need of clothing. Most of these converts came as a result of the Prison Ministry. The Care Unit provided them with suits, dress shoes, etc. The Care Unit has evolved into a ministry that serves not only the members of Macedonia Church and new converts but also the community in providing food and clothing to any in need.
It is the objective of the Care Unit to continue to minister in all of the above areas with greater focus on supplying the needs of the sick and shut in.
The goals of the Care Unit is to seek food and toy donations for Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets, provide clothing and other essentials as needed and coordinate with other outreach ministries in supplying the needs of the sick and the shut in.
