The community of First Baptist Church has set its sights on making an IMPACT for Christ and His Kingdom in 2010.  From local community ministries to mission trips to other parts of the world; from teaching about the faith in our building to teaching about the faith in our homes; from worshiping each week as God's family to witnessing and inviting people to follow Jesus and join His family, we are going to be intentional about being Jesus-shaped people who show others the good news of Jesus.
 
We praise God that the $1.1 million mortgage on our church facilities will be paid off this October (in five years), and in turn this will allow our body to focus additional funds on ministry that IMPACTS more lives for Jesus.  To celebrate this momentous event, our congregation will have special events and ministry opportunties planned each month to both inspire action for and worship of our great God.
 
We hope you will join God and us as we humbly seek to make an IMPACT 4 Jesus in 2010.
 
 How beautiful on the mountains
       are the feet of those who bring good news,
       who proclaim peace,
       who bring good tidings,
       who proclaim salvation,
       who say to Zion,
       "Your God reigns!"
