3. Read 2 Corinthians 2:14-17 with 1 Samuel 16:7. What was the pleasing aroma Paul referred to? What would you say are the foundations to a living church?
4. Is it possible to program God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit out of church? Why is the Holy Spirit essential to a living church? Read and discuss Jude 20, 1 Thessalonians 1:5, John 4:24, Philippians 4:3 and Galatians 5:16, 25. How can you pray for the local church and North Metro?
5. Read Revelation 3:4-6. What advice does Jesus give to the faithful remnant in Sardis and what are the rewards for overcoming? Read Hebrews 12:23, Philippians 4:3 and Luke 10:20. If Jesus can resurrect a church, how can we apply this to our lives (John 11:25)?
