Position: Youth Pastors
Let me introduce myself. My name is Jose Ochoa and I have been actively involved with the youth ministries at Horizon Christian Fellowship since 1997. I got saved as a youth when I was 15 years old but I backslid right away because I had no discipline or discipleship. At the age of 22, I hit rock bottom and got tired of living a double life. I called upon the name of the Lord to save me again and He did!
I have now been consistently following Jesus for 12 years and plan on serving Him for the rest of my life. I am also a
I am blessed to have the best youth group in the whole universe and the greatest wife in the whole galaxy - Sherry Ochoa. Our first child, Josiah, is on his way. God is good! My goal is to help young people grow in their relationships with Jesus, family and others. I also have a strong desire to teach young people the importance of sharing their faith and living it. A person who is genuinely following Christ will be counterculture!
We invite all students in grades 7 through 12 to check out the Counterculture student service every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. You are also welcome to be with us on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. for the U-Turn Discipleship group. See you there!
