If you’re a single parent, you’re probably tired, overwhelmed and feeling a bit under-appreciated. At a Single & Parenting group, you’ll participate in video seminars that explain how to:

Wisely encourage your kids to obey
Help your hurting child
Eliminate debt
Deal with verbal onslaughts
Figure out what your emotions are telling you

Plus, you’ll develop meaningful friendships with other single parents, who, like you, are tired of hectic mornings and chaotic evenings, the kids fighting,
and a never-ending to-do list.

The Farrels explain why a man is like a waffle (each element of his life is in a separate box) and a woman is like spaghetti (everything in her life touches everything else). End-of-chapter questions and exercises make this unique and fun look at the different ways men and women regard life a terrific tool for not only marriage, but also for a reader's relationships at work, at home, at church, and with friends.

In Progress (continuous)
6:30-8:30 PM
Led by: Rollie Nollenberg

The No Regrets Study Series offers men a dynamic growth experience that equips them to be strong, effective Christian leaders at home, on the job, in the workplace and out in the community. The focus is on learning and then applying what it means to be a fully-devoted follower of Jesus. This is a 2-Year disciple-making program designed to model, teach and encourage practical application of biblical principles that build a solid foundation for living life for Christ.

*This is a Community Group that will meet in a home for the full "school year" (September to May).  Community Groups are meant for people who want to develop a deeper relationship with others and with God over a long period of time as each member learns to trust one another, rely on one another, and serve one another through "living life together".

Made to Crave

(Women Only)
Wednesday evenings at Carol DeVault's home in Sturgeon Bay
February 19 to April 30, 2014
6:30-8:30 PM
Led by: Carol DeVault

Has food become more about frustration than fulfillment? Made to Crave is the missing link between a woman’s desire to be healthy and the spiritual empowerment necessary to make that happen. Author, Lysa TerKeurst, personally understands the battle that women face. In Made to Crave, she will help you:

* Break the “I’ll start again on Monday,” and feel good about yourself today.
* Stop agonizing over numbers on the scale and make peace with your body.
* Replace rationalization that leads to diet failure with wisdom that leads to victory.
* Reach your healthy goals and grow closer to God through the process.

This book is not a how-to manual or the latest, greatest dieting plan. It is a helpful companion to use alongside whatever healthy eating approach you choose — a book and Bible study to help you find the “want to” in how to make healthy lifestyle changes.

Holy Discontent

(Women Only)
Tuesday evenings at Wendy Ulrikson's home in Sturgeon Bay
March 4 to April 29, 2014
6:30-8:30 PM
Led by: Wendy Ulrikson

What is the one aspect of this broken world that, when you see it, touch it, get near it, you just can't stand? Very likely, that firestorm of frustration reflects your holy discontent, a reality so troubling that you are thrust off the couch and into the game. It's during these defining times when your eyes open to the needs surrounding you and your heart hungers to respond that you hear God say, "I feel the same way about this problem. Now, let's go solve it together!"
Bill Hybels invites you to consider the dramatic impact your life will have when you allow your holy discontent to fuel instead of frustrate you.

Through their examples, Beth Moore explores what it means to know and truly believe God as described in Isaiah 43:10 and encourages women to deepen their own trust in God and receive a fresh word from Him. This powerful resource will lead participants to a more active, living faith...one that begins with...believing God.
