Join the Woodland Outdoor Wanderers on Saturday, November 11 for a fall hike in Point Reyes National Seashore. The Bear Valley and Horse Trail Loop is a 7.6 mile loop trail located near Point Reyes Station. There are scenic views and the trail is good for all skill levels. The total elevation gain is 1,499 feet. You will be able to explore the Bear Valley Visitor Center.
Participants will meet at 8:00 AM
at the parking lot of Woodland Presbyterian Church at 1324 Columbia Drive to sign-in, pick up maps, get a hike overview, and form carpools. Bring plenty of water, snacks or a lunch for the trail, sunscreen, a hat, and footwear suitable for hiking. Wear layers of clothing. It can be cold at the coast.
