Amy was born and raised in the Snohomish County area, and considers Trinity to be a part of her family. Her roots at Trinity run deep - this is the church where her grandparents were married, she was confirmed, she and her husband, were married, and her two daughters were baptized.
Amy volunteered with our Sunday School program for several months before taking on the part-time position of Children and Youth Ministries Coordinator in 2009. Her vision for Trinity includes a Sunday School program that children are excited to come to each week - a place where they learn about God's love for them and others, a place where they sing fun songs, create unique craft projects, and get to interact with Bible stories, on a level that is engaging as well as educational. She also sees this as a place where children belong - a place where they are welcome, loved, and cherished, as members of God's family, and the family of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Please stop by to visit with Amy and the Sunday School students any time - we welcome guests with enthusiasm!
