2010 - The Fall

The Fall is here - the leaves are brilliant with color, the air is cool and crisp and just around the corner we will be celebrating the Holidays...
On the day after Christmas, Dec 1989, we packed up, our kids & our lil house, our business, pretty much our lives and moved to Tennessee.
Leaving behind everything, our family and all that was secure, financially, and every area of familiarity we had known... we obeyed the Call. PR Ministries was born.
Now looking back We are humbled to think that God loves us so much that He cares so deeply for us, and even for every smallest detail.
It has been 21 yrs since we started this adventure with God and If you would have told us that in this journey, there would be so many ups & downs
that we would go thru personally - we might not have stepped out of the boat. But we are here today and it is because of God's Faithfulness and relentless love
for His purposes - we can say that without a shadow of a doubt Our God reigns. I read this quote the other day and thought it was a perfect picture our our lives
Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. -Ralph Waldo Emerson
This road we have been on has not always been easy, at time it has been scary, it has felt as if we were alone, and yet in the same breathe - it has been the
most glorious and fruitful of times. In it all the common thread has been that we've seen God's mercies rise up every morning and meet us... and for this we are grateful...
we could not do this mission alone, and if God were not with us guiding our every steps. He has surrounded us with like hearted people, who believe in the call of God on our lives.
So i guess the point of this note is to encourage you that obedience is better than sacrifice and when you hear the call of God on your life..obey and count the cost...pray and ask Him to direct you... He is Faith-full
When God is with you - there will be no lack of His daily provisions... we love you and pray that you would find peace & grace in this season.
In His grace,
Michael & Celeste Guido

From a wife's perspective...
From a wife's perspective...
As I sit here and write you a note from my perspective - my eyes fill up with tears....
I don't think I can adequately describe briefly, a wife's role in ministry...there are truly not enough words.. But I will attempt.
My husband travels as a road Pastor. So when he is traveling, I am wearing the hats of both mom & dad and the responsibility doubles. We keep the household going
and just when we have it figured out, he comes home off the road and we have to shift gears remembering our place as wife/mom and let go of some of the responsibility's - which is really hard to do.. Having little ones was the toughest time of all for us because routine and familiar patterns makes for a less stressed environment. Bottomline, It is all a matter of adjusting. A good friend would always ask me when was Michael coming home and she would pray for us a prayer of re-entry and peace in the transition... I promise you, we could feel a difference if we weren't praying for God's peace in the time of re-adjusting to each other...
But - if I had to narrow it down to just one thing I have learned in these past 25 yrs of marriage is prayer is the key ingredient. You must remind yourself that you can only take care of you - when I go before God and I say to Him "but you see it was my husbands fault that this happened and that happened...", I know He is going to say but how did you respond, how did you change, how were you more like Me in this? So ladies let's stop being a dripping faucet and let's be the wife God created us to be..
That same good friend said to me one really tough day.."Make your heavenly Papa proud!" That has helped me tremendously for so many years...

For such a time as this...

For such a time as this...
These are crucial hours that we are living in -- the days are dark and the evidence is all around us. We are not surprised nor are we dismayed - we are assured that God is still on the throne and are challenged to live what we profess... we have a mandate to live as God has called us all to walk by faith & not by sight...and we either willing come to the rock and be broken -- or allow the circumstances of life to crush us -- so teach us to number our days and gain a heart of wisdom God...
As for the Guido's and PRM we have sensed a shift in the Spirit for some time now and are excited about the days ahead. We have had our road of challenges but we press forward and press onward...knowing that He is in control.
Thank you family, faithful supporters and friends who have stood with us thru thick and thin and look forward to what God has in store for us!!
Doors that no man could open-- are open before us in this season... here are a few prayer requests:
--14th Annual tobyMac/MWS Golf tournament Aug 24th --The fall tours ahead that we have been asked to be a part of..
(Stryper 25th Anniversary tour /Daughtry tour/ Exit Concert's throughout the US) --Walking alongside as a Life Coach to many Artist/Entertainers / Paul Jr.s Designs --
The financial needs to allow us to walk in these places without any strings attached...
Malachi 3:10
"...Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it."
May God bless each one of you and keep you close...

my friend Guido… David Tosti

There are certain people that we all come across in our lives that inspire us, move us to be better humans, and explain love through the way they breathe and my friend Guido is that, for me. Guido and I met about 7 years ago, when I was singing and touring with my band, PAX217. We met in a mall in Nashville, TN and struck up a rich, deep, friendship. If I could only explain what he does and more importantly WHO he is, I would. I guess I will give it a try. He is a MAN, in the truest sense. A husband, father to 5 children of his own, and a father to many many more artists. He has invested himself for the past 25 years into the lives, families, and essentially the hearts, of many multi-platinum (and not multi-platinum, like myself) artists. He is an example of what it means to be a father and a fighter. He has given himself to extreme ends to speak life into artists through out the years. I’m so grateful to have crossed paths and built such an amazing a relationship. Last night, we connected at the spectrum on a whim. He is currently on a HUGE international tour, which I can’t mention, so I was quite lucky to be able to hang with him for a few hours. Here’s a shot I took of him in Nordstroms. Here’s to you Guido, you have made my life more powerful. Find what he does
here, and if you’re on facebook, I invite you to
add his “cause” and give to his work

2008 Looking Ahead…
Focused on the Goal - the Message
Phillipians 3:12-16 “I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back. So let’s keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us. If any of you have something else in mind, something less than total commitment, God will clear your blurred vision—you’ll see it yet! Now that we’re on the right track, let’s stay on it.”
As we started the New Year — [08′ being the number of new beginnings] — We must remember that old things have passed away and new doors are before us so we must keep focused on the goal…
Our labor is not in vain when we are in the Lord. Many of us have ideas of what the future looks like, we must bring those ideas to the Lord and let Him purify them in the fire… as He builds character in our life, He then can bring the blueprints of what is next. We the Guido family have had much character building these last few years and are feeling the heat of His purifing fire…the heart and mind are a very important part of this purification– we must renew our minds, by washing with the Word of God to change our way of thinking and that will in turn soften our hearts to hear what He is saying… it is imposssible to be intimate with Him without this prosess. It takes time. His desire is to be intimate with Him… this is His goal… we must make it ours .
So lets not get so busy doing, that we stop being, who He wants us to be….in Him
Our Father in heaven is very fond of us, and He only thinks good thoughts of us — we love you and pray that you will find the joy in walking with your heavenly Papa!!!!!!

Thanksgiving w/ the family
Verse for the day
As the 2007 year closes — I am reminded of God’s unfailing love for me
2Chronicles 20:14-29 says…. God’s message to us is ‘do not be afraid, it is Me, I am with you’… don’t focus on your circumstances or your trials, focus on Me. This is God’s war, not yours. Again do not be afraid, do not waiver, just stand firm…..God tells us to overcome the fear we must praise Him even in the midst of our uncertainty… have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld… and they went out singing praises… ‘give thanks to the Lord for His love endures forever’…..and watch God move…..
May God pour down His grace and His love as you give Him your focus and your heart of praise & thanksgiving — Guido
