What can you do to help Servants serve the people of Haiti?
First, you can help us immediately with your prayers. Start praying right now for God’s guidance in our planning! Pray for the right doors to open and the connections to be made so we can partner with people and organizations in Haiti that will allow us to be the Hands and Feet of Christ.
You can volunteer to serve either as a volunteer on a rebuilding/recovery trip to Haiti or here in the states supporting teams. We will need many volunteers especially those with construction skills to help in the recovery efforts. So many times I have heard from the people of the Gulf Coast that if it weren’t for the Christian teams coming to help they wouldn’t be getting any help at all! To serve on one of these teams you will need a passport and updated vaccines for Tetanus, Hepatitis A & Typhoid. Prayerfully consider if God is calling you to serve in this way.
Finally we will need financial support to help us send teams and purchase materials and supplies for the recovery. It will take a great deal of financial support to rebuild this country. Your contribution to this recovery effort will help teams serve the people of Haiti by being the Hands and Feet of Christ. 100% of all contributions to the Haiti Recovery Fund will go directly to teams for travel and materials used to serve the people of Haiti.
