We at Hope 4 Kids are excited to provide a wide variety of play-based, nature-centered activities for children ages birth through kindergarten so they can explore, discover, and learn from the natural world around them.  We emphasize social and emotional growth experiences to offer children opportunities to become self-aware, self-confident, and develop relational skills. We are an Outdoor Classroom Demonstration Site working to promote quality outdoor experiences for children in our center and throughout Santa Barbara County.

Our commitment to growing healthy children starts with the food we serve and our gardens.  We participate in Preschool Food & Healthy Habits Initiative (PFI) through the Orfalea Foundation, which provides a variety of workshops and education for teachers and families. We have garden boxes, container herb gardens, a rainbow garden and also a Tower Garden!  We use the food we grow to teach children about healthy eating habits, the science that occurs as fruits, plants, and vegetables grow, and offer taste testing so children can see for themselves the difference between something we grow verses store-bought food.  To learn more about our gardens please contact our office to schedule a tour.  To learn more about Tower Gardens, visit our Tower Garden website here.
