from our staff
Hi there,
My name is Terese Hill and I am honored to be the Great Green Grasshopper Lead Teacher and the Preschool Assistant Director. I am excited to be able to work with such a wonderful group of children and staff.
I was born in Santa Barbara, but moved to Lompoc at the age of 8, where I grew up and attended school, and still continue to live with my husband and our amazing son. I find myself always coming back to visit Santa Barbara to visit family.
I continued my education at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, where I have been able to take numerous Early Childhood Education classes that have given me the opportunity to learn many aspects of working with children. I continue to learn and grow by attending workshops and trainings.
Before working with Hope 4 Kids, I worked as the Childcare Director for the preschool and after school programs at the Lompoc Boys & Girls Club. Seventeen years ago, I started at the Boys & Girls Club as a volunteer and moved my way up to Director.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my son watching him grow and explore this wonderful world. I also love to travel, take pictures, and scrapbook.
I enjoy working at Hope 4 Kids; every day is different and exciting! I love learning each child's personality and getting to know them. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be able to work with such a great group of children.
