Stef was born and raised in McConnellsburg, a tiny town in central Pennsylvania. She's a graduate of Kutztown University with a degree in Art Education, and grew up attending LCCC as a camper. After high school, she spent 5 summers working on staff as a CIT, counselor, and leadership team. In 2011, she returned to Ligonier as an interim Summer Camp Coordinator, only to stay on as the year-round Summer Camp Director. She now lives on the camp grounds, spending her summers immersed in the busy and joyful life of summer camp, and her off-season traversing the area to recruit campers and staff alike.
Stef is a self-described “nerd” who enjoys learning new things, reading, listening to podcasts, crocheting, playing guitar, and discussing pop culture with anyone who will listen. Her love of the ministry at LCCC comes from seeing her own life transformed through Christ's work in the community of believers who gather on the hill summer after summer. To her, being able to see the Kingdom built through campers and staff each summer makes her position the best job ever.
