FAQ

How do I sample your cake flavors?
Design/Tasting appointments are held for wedding cake orders only.  For all other orders we offer individual serving Torte Cake Bowls for $3.25 each.  Available flavors vary daily.

How do I place an order? 

  1. Store location
    To place an order in the store, speak with our friendly customer service representatives at 11614 Huron Lane in Little Rock, Arkansas.  Click on the "Information" tab for store hours.
  2. By phone
    To place an order by phone, call us at 501-221-1989 and use your credit/debit card. Payments accepted are Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.  Payment will be processed when the order is placed.
  3. On-line
    We do not accept orders on-line.  However, you are welcome to email your information for a cake quote.  For a faster response time, it is best that you call or come to the store to place your order.  Due to the high volume of inquiries we receive daily, we ask that you allow at least 72 hours for an email response.  *Same day/same week orders are best handled in the store or over the phone.  (Pastry Request)
What is the latest time I can place my order?
All orders should be placed at least one (1) week in advance.  Custom and specialty orders should be placed at least two (2) weeks in advance.  On occasion, we are able to take same week/same day orders, if the order is placed before 5 p.m. on Wednesday of that week.  However, the Wednesday timeline is subject to change without notice.  All orders taken are based on our availability and assessed on a week-by-week basis.
 
Do I have to pay for my order in advance?
Yes.  A 50% deposit is required to process your order; the remainder is due at pick-up.  All delivery orders must be paid in full when order is placed. 

On wedding cake orders there is a non-refundable/non-transferable $100 deposit required to reserve your date, and the balance must be paid in full at least two (2) weeks prior to your event.

 
What forms of payments do you accept?
We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.  Checks are accepted for Wedding Cake orders only.  
 

What happens if I am not pleased with my design at time of pick-up?

Please be advised that all orders are shown to our customers prior to leaving our store, as are all orders discussed in detail with our customers either via telephone or when visiting our store.  Although we strive for perfection, errors are possible.  Therefore, if you are not satisfied with your design at the time of pick-up, due to our error, please inform our staff before taking your purchase from the store.  Additionally, if you want to add or change your order to a design that was not discussed when placing your order, you may incur additional charges.  *Once you have left our premises, you are stating that you were satisfied with your order.      

 

What happens if I damage my cake after pick-up?
We give instructions on how to maintain your cake at time of pick-up.  We are not responsible for damage to any order, whether standard, custom, or tiered designs, that are picked up and/or set-up by customers.  In the event your cake is damaged in transit or due to set-up, you may incur additional repair or replacement charges.

 

What happens if I am not pleased with the taste?

We have maintained an outstanding reputation for the taste of our products.  However, if any product is unsatisfactory to your taste, it must be returned for evaluation within 48 hours of pick-up.  All refunds or credits are based on management discretion.

 
Should I receive a store credit, does my credit have an expiration date?

Yes, all store credits expire six (6) months from the date of issue.

 
How do I redeem my Mickey's Gift Certificate?
Mickey's gift certificates can only be redeemed in the store.
 
Are your products nut-free?
Though we do not use any nut based products, we cannot guarantee all of our products are nut-free.  We suggest that you tell us about any allergies before placing your order so we can advise you of the best options for you and your family.
 
Are any of your cakes made with sugar substitutes, egg-free, gluten-free, or reduced fat products?
No, not at this time.
 
What do I need to do if I have to cancel my order?
To cancel an order, you must contact us 48 hours before the planned pickup or delivery time for standard flavor cakes, four (4) business days on special flavors, specialty items, and custom orders, and two (2) weeks on wedding cake orders.  All cancellations are subject to cancellation fees.
 
Do you deliver?
Yes.  Local Delivery for standard cakes is $21.00.  Local Delivery for wedding cakes is $58.00.  Long distance deliveries are $1.75 per mile round trip.  Delivery charges are based on size of cake and/or distance.  For specific delivery charges, are available on request for an additional charge.  
 
Do you ship cakes?
We do not ship our cakes.

How do I get your company to give a donation for our event?
All donation requests must be submitted in writing for consideration.  We love to help our community as much as possible; however, we give a limited amount of donations each year.  We ask that you give us at least two weeks' notice to consider your request.
