Steve graduated from
) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pastoral Studies in 1981. He recently inishied a Master of Arts degree in Church Ministry from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.
Soon after graduating from North Central, Steve married his college sweetheart Jeanne. From 1981-1997 they have served Assemblies of God churches in Canton (Ohio), Waupaca, Wisconsin Rapids, and Racine. In 1997, the Nickel family moved to The
for the purpose of starting a new church, Fox Valley Christian Fellowship.
They have been blessed with two children, Josh and Jessica, who live in the
area. The Nickel family is an “All-American” family with a three bedroom house, mini-van, and a family pet, a Cock-a-poo named Baily.
Steve often says, “The Fox Valley is the best place in
Wisconsin to raise a family. It has all the big city amenities with a small town feel.”
