- In program production. When we've assembled a team to record programs, we train them in every aspect of the work from equipment operation to message content to program strategy. As mentioned in our statement on strategy, programs are checked by other speakers of that language and critiqued. Information is fed back to the recording technician who can then make the appropriate adjustments.
- In follow-up of responses to programs. Our team members learn how to follow-up letters that listeners write. Letters may be as simple as someone asking for a Bible or as difficult as a listener writing in with severe emotional problems. They learn how to deal with the initial questions and where to find the resources needed to meet the needs of the respondent.
- Sometimes our trained national workers are asked in letters from listeners for help learning how to minister to others in their own culture. This is the third area of training.
