Worship Through Movement MIME/Dance Ministry
Join us as we partner with Union Baptist, North East, and White Rock Music and Arts Ministries to present "A Musical Journey to The Cross Easter Program” on April 18th (Good Friday), 7:00 p.m. at Union Baptist Church. All youths/teens, and adults are welcome to participate.
Clothing Giveaway
The Daughters of Calvary will host a Clothing Giveaway on Saturday, April 19th from 7:00 a.m.-12:00 noon at Ma Bessie’s house (Cornell Street).  The Ministry is collecting clothing on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon and will do so every Saturday until April 5th, at Ma Bessie’s house.  They accept gently used women, men and children’s clothing.  Please bring items DIRECTLY TO THE SMITH HOUSE during the appropriate time, not to the Church Office during the week.

The Spring Festival
Will take place at FCBC on April 19th, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. All are invited to share in this Pre-Resurrection celebration of our Savior. There will be food, amusements, games and more!

Mobile Market Distribution 
Volunteers Needed- If you have had the training and have signed up to volunteer we NEED YOU Saturday, April 19th at 9:30 a.m. There is also a GREAT need for drivers to deliver food. Contact Sister Rebecca A. Oats at 919-536-4201 to lend a hand.

Resurrection Sunday Recitation Program 
Is on April 20that 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. There will be a joint Sunday School discussion immediately after the presentation by our youth. Parents, please assist your child in preparations and memorizing their part.

The Acknowledge of Call to Christan Service for Sister Amorita Pickering will take place on April 27th at 4:00 p.m. All are invited to come out and show your support.

Coming Soon-The FCBC Fellowship CAFÉ
This will be a place to study the Bible, meet people, and more! Donations are now being accepted for new and gently used bistro sets, card tables for 4 with padded chairs, coffee makers, a microwave, and upright upholstery chairs. Bring donations to the atrium Monday-Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. For a Saturday or Sunday time contact Sister Moncree at (919)225-7909. Donations accepted thru April 30th or until the café is completed.

Lupus Walk

TOTS for Change
 Our Tots, ages 5-8, are ready to kick off their Community Service Project for our Social Justice Challenge! Help them collect "change" so that they can help to be a "Change Agent” for those less fortunate. Change bins are outside the vestibule, in the church office and outside the fellowship hall for your donations.  
Pencil Madness
 YOUTH and PARENTS the Youth Ministry needs your help...... Donate "PENCILS" (and any other school supplies as well) to send with one of our members (Ashley Cox) who is teaching in Ghana. Look for the specialty marked bins that will be placed outside the vestibule and by the fellowship hall to collect items! Please contact us at for more information

Attention Youth (ages 11-18)
You may be invited to attend an all expense paid CENTRIFUGE YOUTH CAMP at Ridgecrest in the gorgeous mountains of Asheville North Carolina, July 21st through July 25th. Invitations will be extended to youth with the highest cumulative Sunday School/Bible Study attendance between April 6 and July 6, 2014. Details are forthcoming.

Youth Basketball

Youth Lifeguards
Durham Parks and Recreation is recruiting teens to work as lifeguards this summer at the city pools, for $8.40 per hour. DPR offers free training for teens over Spring Break in a program called "Durham Aquatics School". Participants will gain the skills necessary for hire as a lifeguard.
