Church Anniversary Van

Harvest Festival
Donate healthy snacks, candy, and/or prizes for the Harvest Festival on October 29th, 5:30 p.m.   A donation box is located outside of the Congregational Nurse’s office (across from the Choir Room).   Also, WE NEED volunteers to lend a hand!  Email for details.
Youth Lock-In:  Help plan and volunteer for the 2015 MLK Youth Lock-In!  We need your support!!  Meetings are on October 20th, and 23rd, at 6:00 p.m.  Email for details.

Pastor Davis & the Pastor’s Aide Ministry are issuing the challenge to get moving like our Pastor!  Enter in your Activities for "The Pastor’s Fit Challenge"…get up and get a move on!! 
Mobile Market Help

Project Fine
Tutoring for grades K-12 is held on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Lyon Park Center. Parents are encouraged to enroll their children in the program now and not to wait until problems arise. Help is also available for adult learners. Volunteer tutors are needed, especially in the area of math. If you have questions or wish to volunteer, please contact Sister Elnora Shields at (919)688-7833.

United Way Campaign
Please give to the West End Community Foundation, Inc. (Calvary Ministries) through the United Way Campaign, Code 4060.  If you are a Duke Employee give to DGIN (Doing Good in the Neighborhood), these funds are used to support the West End Community Foundation, Inc. (Calvary Ministries) After-School Program.

The Black Nativity
See The Black Nativity this year on Friday-Sunday, December 19th-21st.  Group rates are available for at least 20 tickets.  You will not have to attend on the same day but tickets must be purchased as a group.
