Greetings friends! It is a pleasure serving on the ministry staff of First Presbyterian as the Director of Senior Adult and Women’s Ministries. My husband, Tim, and I moved to Grand Junction in the fall of 2009 from Klamath Falls, OR, where I served as Director of Women’s Ministries for First Presbyterian Church. I have been in church ministry for the past 20 years, seven on the Front Range, and eleven in Oregon.
I am an Adjunct Professor for Western Seminary in Portland, OR, where I received a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Care to Women. I am a trained Stephen Minister and hold a certificate in counseling from the American Association of Christian Counselors. I thoroughly love spending time with people, teaching the Word of God and helping all to understand their intrinsic worth as intended by God.
In addition to spending time with people, I love being with my family (now scattered across the USA), taking every opportunity to stay connected. I am a water enthusiast; scuba diving, water skiing, rafting and swimming as well as biking. I enjoy travel and am an avid reader.
My husband and I have three adult children; Victoria (married to Christian), Skylar (married to Jamie) and Calista (married to Brian). Skylar and Jamie have blessed us with two adorable grandchildren, Ellie Grace and Darius John. And yes, I DO have pictures! I’ll proudly keep you updated about all my family:
