An annual outreach to the community one weekend in late April
The first Saturday of each month prepare and serve lunch at the Catholic Outreach Soup Kitchen.
Christ Center
We partner with the Christ Center and the Colorado Mesa University Christian Groups for special events. Included in these events are:
- “Meat the freshmen” – cooking steaks for the incoming students (end of August);
- Turkey Sandwich Giveaway – handing out turkey sandwiches to students (the Monday before Thanksgiving);
- Finals Care Packages – giving out goodie bags (the Monday before May finals).
Candlewood Club
Every Wednesday during the school year from 2 to 4:30 pm there is an after school club for elementary age children at Candlewood Trailer Park. We have games, crafts, and snacks for the kids.
