We offer GRACE Place for kindergarten through 4th grade children on Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m.  GRACE Place is a workshop-based Sunday school. Children study the same Bible story or concept for 4 – 6 weeks, attending a different workshop each week.  Workshop leaders may utilize drama, video, games, music, science, storytelling, or cooking to teach the Bible lesson… the sky’s the limit!  Adult “shepherds” accompany the children each week.  We love the interactive learning that GRACE Place fosters and we know that your kids will love it too!  To learn more about rotation workshop Sunday school, visit
During the 2012-2013 school year, our GRACE Place kids will be learning from both the Old and New Old Testament.  Our schedule of rotation for this year is:

  • Be able to identify at least one talent or ability that they possess
  • Understand that Jesus wants them to use their talents and abilities to serve others in love
  • Understand how all of our talents work together to make us the Body of Christ
  • Learn that God wants them to be good stewards of all that God gives them
  • Learn that God calls us to be faithful stewards of His creation
  • Learn that Jesus wants us to serve others in need as if doing it for Him

Worship plays a vital role in the discipleship of our children.  We feel that attending worship as a family is the best way for children to learn about worship and its many facets.  We encourage children age 5 and older to participate regularly in worship with their families.  Children's bulletins and age-appropriate Bibles are available in the Sanctuary.  Children of all ages are occasionally asked to help lead in worship through music, scripture reading, or drama.  Please look for the "Children in Worship" brochure in the Sanctuary for more information on helping your children learn about worship.

Children in 5th and 6th Grade are invited to attend FIREPROOF.
FIREPROOF beings on September 4 and continues each Wednesday during the school year.  This group is geared specifically to pre-teens and their friends.  Each week features high energy games, relevant Bible teaching, fun videos, and group discussion.  This fall we will be talking about peer pressure, God's plan for us and the world, and respect for others.  This group also participates in our FIREPROOF Puppet Ministry.  The puppet ministry plans and performs the children's message for our children's Christmas Eve service.
Please look for the “Children in Worship” brochure in the Sanctuary for more information on helping your children learn about worship.
