“To continually provide learning opportunities where spiritual growth leads to life-change.”
Adult Sunday School
God’s Word, 9:15 am- a weekly Sunday morning Bible study class. Our September through November theme is First Things. We'll look at passages from Genesis and Exodus and consider the beginnings of people, the beginnings of the particular people of god, and the renewal (a second "beginning") of that particular people. And we'll consider what God might be saying to us today through those stories. Each lesson stands on its own, so come join us any week.
Teacher: Barb TerLouw
"The 9:15 Forum"- All interested individuals are invited to join us for this multi-faceted conversational Bible study which will begin with a 10-week study of the Book of Isaiah.
Teacher: Rev. Cyrus Smith
The Storyline Class - Every good story (Star Wars, Narnia, Pride and Prejudice) breaks down into 3 things: 1) There's a character 2) who wants something and 3) overcomes conflict to get the thing they want. The elements of a good story in movies, theatre, novels, and even around the water cooler are the same elements that make for a meaningful life. We're going to host the Storyline Class every Sunday at 11 am in the Fletcher Room starting September 8 and lasting for 8 weeks.
