Alonzo Smalls Reentry House
Pivot's reentry facility is located next door to the Crisis Center on Jane Street in Bridgeport. It is a full renovated apartment residence. This facility has been designated as a safe place of residence for men not yet fully prepared to re-enter society. Clients are required to attend daily bible study, pay rent , attend church services, and may work hours as support staff of Pivot Ministries. It is during this phase that students are encouraged to secure full time employment and save their income to support a move to independent living. Pivot Ministries Administrative Offices are located on the first level of the residence. There are 10 double occupancy rooms that house reentry students and staff. It is a place of refuge that allows students time to discover their next step in their recovery.
