Community Outreach

New Safe Haven's primary objective is to provide biblical teaching and spiritual outreach to assist in paving the way for a stronger community.  It is our philosophy to minister to both the physical and spiritual needs of those that are hurting, confused, battered, incarcerated, convalescing, and apathetic to broker a change in their lives by showing God's salvaion plan for their lives.
  • Nursing Home & Hospital/Convalescing Ministry:  monthly visitation team to visit the local nursing care facilities and conduct worship service and prayer for the sick and shut-in.  Ongoing ministry with donations of aid to the care facility for the benefit of the residents at large.
  • Salvation Army:  a group of volunteers travel monthly to the Salvation Army to assist with the food service program to the residents.  Under direct supervision of the Volunteer Coordinator, the volunteers assist with the functions of serving and cleanup while interacting with the residents in a compassionate manner.
