Larry and Jean started married life 45 years ago in Bakersfield. Larry began his career as a school teacher, then served as Executive Assistant with Trans World Missions, later was a youth pastor, Christian education director, and founder of Arroyo Christian School in Livermore, California.
In 1977, Larry returned to Bakersfield to be the founding administrator of Stockdale Christian School. In 1985 Larry and Jean were elected pastors of the First Assembly of God church in Lancaster, California. Eight years later, he was elected to the Southern California District Office of the Assemblies of God as the Secretary/Treasurer. He retired from that position in May of 2010 after serving for 17 years.
Larry and Jean have a daughter, Annie, who is a Marriage and Family therapist. She is married and lives with her husband (a pastor) and two daughters in Laguna Beach, CA. Their son, Scott, is the Admissions Director for Fremont Colleges. He is married and lives in Fullerton Ca. with his wife Danielle and two children.
Larry loves hugs around the neck from his grandchildren, reading, Costco hotdogs, camping, and swinging the club every once in awhile.
